Meat casserole with potatoes Ingredients
  • 500g meat
  • 20 potatoes
  • 2 bulbs
  • 50g lard
  • 1.5 tbsp milk

Preparation
  1. Let's start with meat. It could be anything. Changing the meat, you can change the taste of the dish. So, the meat should be marinated with any spices to your taste. I marinate in mayonnaise with garlic and spices. You can pickle it in the evening, but a couple of hours will be enough. The chicken in the casserole can turn out a little dry, so choose a juicy marinade.

  2. Now take the potatoes, peel them and grind them. Then put it in the coop and let the juice run. You can even squeeze a little to remove excess moisture.

  3. Lard and onions shallowly chop and roast in the pan until golden. When it's all full, add the milk, salt and pepper a little. As soon as the milk boils, take it off the fire. Let it cool down a little.

  4. Pour the milk and onions into the potatoes, mix well. This will be our potato casserole filler. You can try the salt again, if you need, add spices or salt.

  5. Now lubricate the batter with oil and put the meat on it with an even layer. Pour it with a potato mixture and distribute it evenly. Then send to the oven for about an hour or a half. The crust should be roaring. Baking temperature is 200 degrees. The casserole is ready, you can serve it on the table!
