The ingredients
- 300-500g cherries
- 3 eggs
- 3-4g baking powder
- 100g sugar
- 10g butter
- 100-125g flour
- 250 ml of milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar)
Preparation
- Beat the eggs with sifted flour, baking powder and sugar. For flavor, add vanilla extract or vanilla sugar. Stir with a wreath or mixer.
- Pour the milk into the dough and stir again. The dough comes out quite liquid, like pancakes.
- Clafooti is better baked in ceramic forms: portioned or whole. A split form can also be used. Grease the mold with butter.
- Wash the cherries, dry them and put them in the form. Please note that we take cherries with seeds, so as not to create excess moisture in the dough and the dough itself is better baked.
- Pour the cherries with dough. Bake in a preheated to 180 degrees oven for 35-40 minutes until ready.
