He was confident in his talent and had enough money to settle abroad. However, coming to the States, the guy was at a broken trough in the literal sense of the word.



Trusting and naive, Kostya got into the car of a stranger who promised to take him to a nearby hotel. But in the end, he took all his money and belongings, throwing on the side of an unknown road. Being a pacifist by nature, the man could not stand up for himself. He never fought in his life, and it was not difficult to stun his scoundrel.

Constantine wandered the streets of an unfamiliar city in search of help. However, none of the passers-by responded. Everyone thought he was a leper. Kostya tried to explain in fluent English that he had been robbed. Unfortunately, that didn't lead to anything. The guy was flooded with bitter tears, realizing that he had lost his dream and was unlikely to be able to return to his homeland.



There was a girl waiting for him. Or rather, he thought so, because Dasha burned all the bridges before he left. She needed a confident man who could provide for her. When a man had the opportunity to earn extra money, baby Lucky was always there.



One day Constantine was walking on the way to his shelter and was stopped by a stranger. She offered him an easy income: for a few dollars, take an old sofa to a landfill. This guy never gave up because he knew there was no money on the road.

It was hard, but with grief in half, he managed to drag the old furniture to the trash. Only Lucky got on that couch and started scratching it like he was trying to find something. Kostya was interested in this, and he decided to take apart the junk and see what was wrong with it.

Inside one of the pillows Kostya found a package with some jewelry. The guy was speechless from what he saw. He immediately decided to return to the woman’s house to give her the jewelry. Needless to say, how shocked the lady was. She started repairs in her home, which she inherited, so she got rid of unnecessary things. She had no idea that such riches were hidden somewhere.



The woman did not expect a simple beggar to be so honest. She decided to sell the jewelry and give the guy most of the money. They were so many that Kostya could buy a small house in the States. He told his new friend that he came to the United States to become an actor. It turned out that her husband worked in this industry. Thus began a new stage in the life of our hero.

Tom, the husband of Sicily, was struck by extraordinary talent. He volunteered to help Costa get a decent education and build a career. Since then, many years have passed, and the man really managed to get on his feet. He didn't forget his lover. But he realized he didn’t want to prove anything to anyone. He now lives in a rented apartment with his cat Lucky. A cat that really brought him good luck.
