When you want something light and unusual for dessert, I make Roses from puff dough with apples. Food for this takes the smallest amount, and looks like such baking is very impressive. For six servings, one apple, a pinch of cinnamon and half a pack of puff dough is enough.
Roses from puff dough with apples Ingredients
- 250g puff dough
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp powdered sugar (optional)
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation
- Clean the apple from the core in such a way as not to damage its integrity. I have a special knife for that. And those who do not have it, can cut the apple in circles and only then cut out of each core using any round tube.
- Cut the peeled apple with thin rings.
- Roll the dough and divide into 6 identical parts.
- Make the corners of each part of the incision, as in the photo.
- Pour apple rings in sugar and cinnamon.
- Place each ring inside one of the blanks.
- Get inside the ring and pair the cut edges of the dough. It's like a bow.
- Cover the pan with paper, grease with oil and put all the "Roses" on it.
- Bake in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
- When the pastry is roaring, take out the pan and let it cool.
- Sprinkle the Roses with powdered sugar and serve to the table. They are very light and so beautiful that it is even a pity to eat. But on the second day, no matter how much you cook, it does not remain. They taste so bad!
- Enjoy your tea!
