Squash snack



The ingredients
  • 0.5 kg of zucchini
  • 1 egg
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 50g hard cheese
  • 60g flour
  • 1/4 tsp chili pepper flake
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 20g olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Provence herbs


Preparation
  1. Cut the zucchini with straw and turn on the oven to heat up to 220 degrees.


  2. Place the zucchini blocks in a deep bowl, then add half a teaspoon of salt and black pepper. Stir it all together.


  3. At this stage, breadcrumbs should be prepared. Add to them grated cheese, chili peppers, a teaspoon of salt, dried garlic, paprika and Provencal herbs. Stir the mass until a uniform consistency is obtained.


  4. Beat the egg in a deep bowl.


  5. Pour flour into the squash and stir so that each bar is covered with it.


  6. Place the zucchini in a bowl of whipped egg, and then in a container of crackers. Crush every slice on every side.


  7. Prepare the pan: cover it with parchment for baking, and then grease it with olive oil.


  8. Put the squash straw on the pan and put it in the oven to bake. After 7 minutes, turn the bars over to the other side and bake the same time.




Squash snacks should be served with a savory sauce. You can buy the finished product in the store or cook yourself, mixing a small amount of sour cream, greens and spices.
