Turkish husband conquered voracious relatives, preparing them stuffed peppers without meat

"Site" He has repeatedly introduced readers to the original Turkish recipes from the Turkish People YouTube channel. Today we learn how the Turkish pope Yusuf, who lives in the city of Antalya, cooks stuffed peppers with potatoes and mushrooms, but without rice and meat.

Stuffed peppers with potatoes Ingredients
  • 12 peppers
  • 6-7 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bulb
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 150g champignon
  • 110 ml of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 100ml cream
  • 1.5 tsp dried mint
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1.5 tsp ground black pepper and cumin
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp water
  • dill, parsley, green onions

Preparation
  1. Roast the finely chopped onions in the pan.

  2. Grate carrots on a large grater.
  3. Send the carrots to the transparent onions.

  4. In the meantime, cut the champignons in thin slices.
  5. When carrots transmit their color to onions, champignons can be added to roasted vegetables.
  6. Spice and salt. Stir it well. You can add garlic if you want.

  7. Cut the parsley, put it in the pan and pour cream. Keep cooking on a small fire, stirring all the time. All preparation should take 7-8 minutes. After that, put the pan aside.

  8. Sodium peeled potatoes on a large grater.
  9. Finely cut peeled tomatoes and place them in a bowl to grated potatoes. Wash, cut and peel the pepper seeds. Don’t throw away the seeds, you’ll need them.

  10. Send chopped green onions and dill. Interesting detail: Yusuf adds pepper seeds to the dish, which we usually throw away. According to him, they make the taste of the dish much more interesting.

  11. Pour 40 ml of olive oil, sour cream or unsweetened yogurt. Add the contents of the pan and stir everything. Leave for 15 minutes so the ingredients are soaked in each other's juices.
  12. Fill the peppers with appetizing filling and place in the pan with filling up. To make it taste better, Yusuf lays pieces of sliced tomato between the peppers.

  13. Pour a glass of plain water. Cover the peppers with a lid and send them to the smallest fire. Usually it takes 1 hour, but after 50 minutes you can check the readiness.
  14. If you're ready, turn off the fire, but don't remove the lid.
  15. If desired, prepare a sauce of sour cream, crushed garlic and dill for a dish.

  16. Details of the recipe can be found on the video at the link. Bon appetit!

It turns out to be an inexpensive and very tasty dish. Recall that earlier we told how the Turkish pope Yusuf cooks rice in two ways: white pure and with toasted vermichel.
