How to prepare homemade ketchup ingredients
  • 3kg tomatoes
  • 0.5 kg of apples
  • 250g onions
  • 50g apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1.5 tables of sugar
  • salt and pepper


Preparation
  1. Preparing homemade ketchup is very simple. You can do it, even if you haven't cooked before. So, first, clean the tomatoes and apples from the skin. If you do not want to play with each tomato, peel it, leave it like this, and then rub the tomatoes through a sieve.



  2. Cut the vegetables into pieces, put everything in a pot and put it on the fire. Cook until the onions are soft. Then grind everything in a blender or grind it through a sieve. After boiling to the desired thickness for about an hour.



  3. At the end of cooking, add salt and sugar, stirring constantly so that the sauce does not burn. Then add pepper and apple cider vinegar, remove from the fire and spill into previously sterilized cans, roll the lids.





Here is the homemade sauce and ready, you can put in the pantry. There will be no price for this ketchup in winter. In our family, they generally love blanks for the winter from tomatoes, in cold winter evenings they are eaten just in two counts.
