Herring under a roll coat

Herring under a fur coat roll Ingredients
  • 4 beets
  • 4 carrots
  • 4 potatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 250g herring fillet
  • 1/2 bulb
  • mayonnaise
  • salt, pepper and greens to taste


Preparation
  1. Boil until ready all vegetables except onions. Hard-boiled eggs.


  2. Finely cut the onion and pour for 15-20 minutes with a small amount of water with one spoonful of vinegar.
  3. Put food film on the table.
  4. The peculiarity of this version of the “coat” is such that the layers are laid out in reverse order. So we start with beets. Grate beets and form a thin rectangle from it on the film. The layers of vegetables need to be salted a little so that the salad is not fresh.




  5. Rub the carrots and spread them over the beets. Pour mayonnaise.


  6. Soak the potatoes, put them on top of the carrots and smear them with mayonnaise.
  7. Grind eggs and lay a layer of eggs on potatoes.
  8. Cut small pieces of herring fillets and spread over the surface of the salad.


  9. Place the premarinated onions on the herring.
  10. Carefully wrap the “coat” in the roll, a little pressing, so that it turns out to be denser, and does not break up into pieces when cutting.


  11. Put it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
