- 250g strawberries
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 5g raisins
- 700 ml of water
Preparation
- Put clean water in the pan and throw washed strawberries without tails into it. Put the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil. When the water starts to boil, leave the strawberries to infuse for 15 minutes.
- Now strain the strawberries through the gauze. Add 1 tbsp of honey to strawberry water. Stir the liquid until the honey dissolves completely.
- Add lemon juice to the strawberry compote. Then the compote should be poured into a bottle with a long neck. A bottle of champagne is ideal for this purpose. Pour the compote through the funnel, do not forget about the gauze to strain the remains of seeds and cake.
- Add some raisins to the liquid. Close the bottle with a cork, and leave the kvass to ferment for 2 days at room temperature.
- In two days, move the bottle of kvass into the fridge. You will have to wait two more days to enjoy the refreshing strawberry kvass. You've never tried that before. Enjoy it.
