Cook bakes whole chicken without fuss, just soaks properly

How to bake a whole chicken, if you can not plant it on a jar, but you want the meat to be juicy and tender? You need either a large enough oven or a small chicken. If you don't have either, we'll get our recipe.



It's not hard to use. You do not have to wrap the chicken in foil, nor put it in the sleeve for baking. The whole secret is in a special brine in which we "soak" the carcass before baking.

How to bake whole chicken ingredients
  • 1 chicken carcass
  • 50g butter
  • 1.5–2 liters of water
  • 3 tbsp salt per 1 litre of water
  • 1.5 tsp ground paprika
  • black pepper, turmeric, coriander to taste
  • 2-3 apples


Preparation
  1. Cool boiled water to room temperature, add salt to it at the rate of 3 tablespoons per 1 liter of water.


  2. Stir the salt so that it dissolves completely. Wash the chicken carcass, put it in a bowl of suitable size, pour the prepared water.

  3. Cover the top with a plate, put the pressure on and send it to the refrigerator for 8 hours.
  4. After a measured time, remove the chicken from the brine, wipe dry with paper napkins.
  5. Cut apple slices, put inside the carcass.


  6. Put the chicken in a baking uniform.
  7. Mix butter with paprika and other condiments. Distribute the resulting paste throughout the chicken surface.


  8. Send the chicken carcass into the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for 1.5-2 hours.
  9. During baking, periodically water the chicken with fat, which will accumulate at the bottom of the form.
