French baguette recipe and how to bake it at home

There are various recipes for baguettes, but today we will show you one of the simplest. With its help, you can easily bake a baguette at home.

The ingredients
  • 250 ml of water
  • 8g dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 450g flour


Preparation
  1. Dilute the yeast in warm water along with sugar. Wait 15 minutes for them to activate.



  2. Move the mixture into a large container and start a little sprinkling flour and salt. The amount of flour can be slightly more or less than indicated in the ingredients. It depends on its quality.



  3. After you quickly knead the dough, you need to add vegetable oil to it. It is advisable to carry out detente in the microwave, so you can reduce the time. Preheat in it 100 ml of water in a cup.



  4. After 20 minutes, the dough will be ready to form blanks. Divide it into two parts and stretch it in the shape of baguettes. Put them on a bowl, pre-covered with paper and sprinkled with flour.
  5. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the blanks for 15 minutes. Be sure to place a small form with boiling water under the counter.





Why can you use a ready-made baguette? Of course, they can simply be enjoyed as a snack to your favorite coffee, tea or even milk. You can also make sandwiches or bake a baguette filled with cheese, tomatoes and meat.
