Charlotte, which returns to the USSR after the first piece

Did you buy apples at the supermarket that are too hard? Of course, you can postpone them for a week or two. But we're offering a better option. Our charlotte with bananas will fully reveal the taste of even the most sour apples, and will also be a great addition to the evening tea party.

  2. Beat the proteins with a mixer until the foam is thick.

  3. Add to the whipped proteins a pinch of salt, sugar and yolks. Keep whipping it to uniformity.

  4. Pour the baking powder and add a little flour, mixing the liquid dough. I stopped adding flour, feeling the dough would be too dense when there were still 1.5 tablespoons left. This is possible because everyone’s eggs are different.

  5. Cut thin slices of apples and bananas into circles.
  6. Oil the mold.
  7. Put the bananas and apples down.

  8. Pour the dough and send to the oven, heated to 180 degrees.

  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes. During this time, the charlotte rises.

  10. Turning over the finished charlotte, I found that the bottom of the mugs of banana shine through the dough and look very unusual. There was even the idea of serving pieces of dessert with a beautiful side up.

  11. If you still decide to do it in a more traditional way, decorate the charlotte with powdered sugar.

  12. Bon appetit!

Charlotte came out fragrant and very tasty. Interestingly, in a dessert with two fillings, the dough deserves a separate mention. Thanks to him, the pastry turned out porous, lush and very soft.
