Recipe for Ural pies on kefir

Juicy and hearty Ural cakes are prepared relatively quickly, given that you do not need to wait for the yeast dough to infuse. All because the dough for cakes is made on kefir and turns out to be no less lush when baking. Although, if you like to cook cakes on yeast dough, Ural cakes on it will also turn out tasty. Well, we are for the simplicity and ease of cooking, so we will gladly share with you a recipe for minced cakes and potatoes.



For filling usually take raw potatoes, if desired - onions and mince. Both pork and chicken will do. Ready cakes are necessarily watered with melted butter, then they become even more juicy and aromatic.



The ingredients
  • 500ml kefir
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 700g flour
  • teaspoon
  • quarterspoon
  • 4 potatoes
  • 500g mince
  • quarterspoon
  • 200g butter


Preparation
  1. Ask for flour and add egg, kefir and vegetable oil to it. Stir everything well, add salt, soda and mix the dough thoroughly again.



  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Then rinse it and drain the water.



  3. Mix raw minced potatoes, salty and peppery stuffing.



  4. Cut the dough into pieces and roll the tortillas.
  5. Put the filling in the cakes and pinch the edges of the cakes with a triangle or envelope.



  6. Lubricate the butter and lay out the cakes. Bake them in an oven heated to 200 degrees 40-45 minutes.

If you do not want to wait long for baking cakes, they can be fried twice as fast in a pan. And if you want the crust of cakes to be more rosy, lubricate the top with egg yolk. But then keep in mind that the crust will be harder. As an option: put in the oven mode "grill" for five minutes, so that the crust of cakes turns brown.
