Autumn salad with beets and an apple, after which the husband will not calm down until the morning

My mom always said, "Beets for dinner, you don't need a nutritionist." But what if the usual vinaigrette is already tired, like bitter radish? We offer to prepare an original salad of beets with apple and cheese.





Like all salads made of dark red root vegetables, ours turns out to be inexpensive, tasty and very useful. In order for the taste of beets to play with new colors, we suggest instead of boiling it, bake it in the oven. And instead of the mayonnaise, which is not loved by supporters of healthy lifestyles, we use a filling of apples.

Salad of beets with apple Ingredients for salad
  • 1 beet
  • 100g hard cheese or brynza
  • 1 sour apple
  • chopped


Refueling ingredients
  • 3 sweet apples
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 150 ml of vegetable oil
  • salt and sugar


Preparation
  1. Peel the apples. Cook or bake in foil beets.


  2. Grid cheese, beets and sour apples on a large grater.


  3. Cut the sweet apples in small pieces. Put it in a coop and steam until soft in a steam bath.
  4. To make the sauce, sprinkle steamed apples with sugar and salt, add mustard and grind a blender to a puree state.


  5. After adding lemon juice and oil, beat again and put for 15 minutes in the refrigerator. The sauce thickened in the refrigerator resembles the consistency of mayonnaise, but unlike the latter will not harm your figure.
  6. Collect the salad in a confectionery ring, alternating layers: grated apples, dressing, beets, dressing, grated cheese.


  7. That's it, apple beet salad ready. Decorate it with nuts and serve it to the table.
