Open bay cake with mushrooms and cheese is perhaps one of the simplest and at the same time original dishes that can be prepared for dinner in the oven. Not just for dinner, though. It will be a great option for lunch or even for a festive feast.

- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 0.5 kg of champignon

Preparation
- First of all, prepare the basis for the cake. To do this, combine in a bowl 300 g of sifted flour, butter rubbed into a small crumb and 150 g of sour cream. Add to the mixture a little salt and knead soft elastic dough. Next, wrap the dough in food film and send it to the refrigerator for 40-60 minutes. And then, distributing the chilled dough in the form for baking (pre-lubricated with vegetable oil), send our base to bake in a heated to 180 degrees oven for 20 minutes.
- In order not to waste time while the dough is cooled, you can immediately prepare the filling. Peel the mushrooms with onions and cut everything in small cubes, and then roast in vegetable oil. Roast the vegetable mixture until all the liquid evaporates. And if you leave a few mushrooms and cut them with plates, you get a wonderful decoration for a pie.
- If the base is already baked in the oven, and the mushrooms with onions are fully ready, it is time to proceed to the preparation of cheese pouring. Take a small deep bowl and combine the eggs with sour cream, residues of flour (50 g) and cheese (pre-grated large straw). Sprinkle the mixture, add some black ground pepper and spice to taste, and then mix it well.
- Next, we lay out mushrooms with onions on the ready base and level the filling throughout the form.
- We pour the cheese over the top and decorate the future cake. After that, send the workpiece to the oven for 20-30 minutes.
At the end, we check the readiness of the cake with a wooden sword and take it out of the oven. Before cutting the cake, cover it with a thin kitchen towel and let it cool a little (literally 10-15 minutes). So it will be better to move away from the form and it will be easier to get a cake out of it.
