Technology of construction of indoor football field

A high-quality and durable mini-football field is a rather complex object, during the construction of which you need to take into account a lot of technological and sanitary standards. To do everything correctly and without shortcomings, special equipment is required, as well as an accurate and meticulous calculation.



One of the first stages of the construction of the football field involves the implementation of marking the site with the subsequent organization of the base.

There are two options for the base for the football field:

1. A rubble pillow.
2. Massive foundation with organized drainage system.

Before starting the construction of sports buildings, you should take care of geological and geodetic activities. To determine the quality of the soil, you will have to remove a layer of 50-80 cm. If the soil at the base of the pit is not drained well enough, it is important to equip an additional drainage in the city shower.

The bottom of the pit before filling the gravel pillow must be carefully aligned and give it horizontality. Alternatively, a laser planner is used for this purpose. Then begin to fill the gravel layer and seal the bottom of the pit with a vibro roller.

In this way, they fall asleep and tamp the entire area of the base of the future field. The horizontal deviation shall not exceed ± 3 mm per 1 meter.

Filling the foundation of the site


Before pouring the tape foundation, the base of the pit must be filled with small rubble and thoroughly tamped. The total thickness of the layer of fine gravel is approximately 5 cm. The next stage of work involves pouring a ribbon foundation or installing curbs along the perimeter of a mini-football field. This step will prevent the spread of soil and gravel pillow. For a small football field with a size of 20 × 40 meters, a foundation of 30-50 cm in height and 30-40 cm in width will be enough.

In parallel with the arrangement of the enclosing foundation, it is necessary to install columns for the mounting grid.

The next stage after pouring the foundation (or installing curbs) and carefully preparing the foundation is the placement of a special artificial coating. The coating rolls are first rolled along the length and left on the field for straightening for 2-3 days. When such a coating is ready for work, begin to place the grass. The joints between neighboring rolls under the grass must be glued together using a special adhesive tape.

At the final stage of the arrangement of a small football field, they begin to apply a special game marking on the grass.

To apply such markings can be one of two ways:

1. Use special paint.
2. In a solid carpet of green artificial coating cut lines painted in white grass.

According to the technology of building a football field, the final stage of its equipment will be filling the surface with granulator or quartz sand. After that, the site is ready for use.
