A healthy Breakfast in 10 minutes!
Antioxidants, fiber, healthy fats, calcium, vitamin E, manganese and 8 grams of protein... this is the beverage for cooking that you will need no more than 10 minutes! Start your morning with a berry smoothie with oats in almond milk. Believe me, its creamy texture is exactly what will make your morning really good!
Ingredients (for 1 serving):
3 tablespoons oats
1 (or 1 1/2) frozen banana
2/3 Cup frozen cherries (you can use a whole Cup)
1/2 Cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon almond oil
Preparation:
Place the oats in a small bowl and pour hot water. Allow the oats to swell (5-10 minutes). Drain the excess water.
Add oats, banana, cherries, almond milk and almond butter in a blender.
Whisk for 1-2 minutes until smooth. If you want the smoothie was less cream and more cold, add 3-5 ice cubes and blend again for a minute.
Pour into a glass. Enjoy!
