Emerald SUPER healthy shake with spirulina and ginger

We all know about the benefits of green smoothies, especially popular ingredient such as spirulina source of protein and nutrients. There is only one drawback, and it's distinct taste. The best way to mask the taste of spirulina is to add another ingredient with a more pleasant and strong taste, such as ginger.





Combined with the sweetness of mango and apples, ginger will add a spicy touch to this smoothie. In addition to spirulina, this smoothie contains protein powder hemp, spinach, Chia seeds are high in protein, omega-3 and fiber. These seeds are a great way to thicken smoothies.

The recipe for this smoothie contains no milk, gluten, and is vegan. Fruits play a role a natural sweetener.

 

One serving contains:

  • 10 g of vegetable protein
  • 12 grams of fiber!
  • 100% of the RDA of vitamin C and vitamin A
  • 50% RDA of calcium
  • High iron content
Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 2 cups sliced mango
  • 1 Cup of spinach
  • 2 small green Apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon (heaped) protein powder hemp
  • 1 teaspoon of spirulina powder
  • 1. 5 cups unsweetened almond milk




 

Preparation:
 

Add all the ingredients in a blender and whisk until smooth. Add a few ice cubes, if you want to make the drink colder and dense. Try it, add more ingredients if necessary. If smoothie is too thick — add more almond milk. Pour into two large glasses.
