Duck from Sicamous named Dudley lost his foot, being a little: after the attack of the chicken with which she was in the same enclosure.



The design of the prosthesis, with which she again had the opportunity to walk, invented by Terence Loring of 3 Pillar Designs, which is engaged in 3D-printing architectural models. He learned the history of Dudley from his friend and wanted to help.
The first prototype of the prosthesis printed hard plastic and had three parts. But he collapsed almost immediately after Loring wanted to try out his creation on Dudley.

The following version was more flexible and had no joints. Using this model, Dudley began to walk almost immediately. That plastic does not RUB the remaining part of the leg, Loring decided to use a small sock with a lining of a special gel, which is used in prosthetics.
