Times are changing, and the people there!
Speaking before the General meeting of the Medical society of the city of Dortmund (England), Dr. Ronald Gibson began his speech with four citations.
Quote first.
"Our youth loves luxury, she badly educated, she taunts the boss and does not respect the elderly. Our current children have become tyrants; they do not stand up when the room is an old man, perechat their parents. Simply put, they are very bad."
Quote second.
"I have lost all hope for the future of our country if the youth of today tomorrow will take over the reins, for these young people unbearable, uneven, just awful"
Quote third.
"Our world has reached a critical stage. Children no longer obey their parents. Apparently, the end of the world is not very far".
Quote fourth.
"This youth was corrupt to the core. Young people are insidious and negligent. They will never be like the youth of yore. The young generation of today will not be able to preserve our culture."
After the audience erupted in applause, Dr. Gibson opened the names of authors of quotations.
The first is borrowed from Socrates (470-399 years BC);
The second is from Hesiod (C. 720 BC);
The third saying belongs to one of the Egyptian priest, who lived 2000 years BC.
The fourth recently discovered on a clay pot
found among the ruins of Babylon. The age of this pot for more than 3,000 years.
