Solar brewery
One beer manufacturer uses only the energy of the sun.
Sundance Power Systems Inc. has installed Kyocera Solar Inc. solar modules at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.'s Brewery in North Carolina. The power of the modules is 650 kW.
The manufacturer has always strived to make its production environmentally friendly. Sierra Nevada is always mindful of “reducing use, reusing, recycling” and is committed to being an environmentally sustainable enterprise.
Located on the roof of the plant, the array of solar modules is designed to prove the brewery’s commitment to environmental principles, since solar energy at this plant should be enough to ensure production.
Solar panels from Kyocera are expected to save up to 588 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
