PHALI (from red beans and cabbage)
Dish suitable not only for fasting.
Boil red beans beans 1 Cup (boiled in 1 hour or slightly more, the broth is not drained, it may be useful if a mass seems too dry), then cooked the beans pass through a meat grinder. Grind walnuts (1 and 2 cups better — the number is variable). Chop the garlic — 1-2 tooth. Chop small cubes 2 medium size onion bulbs. Mix beans, nuts, onions, salt to taste, add 1-2 tbsp wine (Apple cider) vinegar and a lot of stir again. Place them on a dish, or rolled into the form of meatballs. Decorate with nuts or pomegranate seeds. If you like the flavors of Georgian cuisine, then before you add a lot of vinegar, you can dissolve 1 teaspoon of seasoning hops-suneli. Instead of vinegar, use fresh pomegranate juice.
Phali from cabbage is prepared similarly, only instead of beans need to take a small forks cabbage to disassemble the leaves, boil, squeeze. Continue to do both in the recipe pkhali from the beans.
In the same way you can prepare pkhali from a boiled beet. The number of kernels, usually for 500g of vegetables is 1 Cup.
WALNUT SAUCE "SATSIVI"

GOULASH WITH WHITE MUSHROOMS
Soak for 4 hours the mushrooms (at night) — 1 Cup of dry mushrooms. Boil and squeeze (the broth is not drained, it will be useful). Place in a saucepan, cast iron (thick) and fry with finely chopped onions in the roasting process salt. BRAISED DRIED CHANTERELLES

To prepare the tomatoes and bell peppers as pictured below, lay on trays, each salt and pepper, add a pinch of sugar, dried herbs (in this case dried Basil), each prepared in tomato and pepper to instill with the syringe or pipette a few drops of vegetable oil. Lay on a sheet laid with parchment paper and greased with vegetable oil. At the lowest temperature to dry (bake) in the oven at 90C and tomatoes for 5 hours; the pepper for 8 hours. Time depends on lower temperatures, which can keep the oven and the availability should be checked in each case individually. You can prepare in advance and store, Bay-heated vegetable oil in glass jars in the refrigerator.
MUSHROOM "JELLY" (jellied mushrooms)

SALAD WITH PEAS AND VEGETABLE SALAD
Salad with peas: canned peas + cucumbers peeled + LOTS of fresh dill and LOTS of green onions. Salt, pepper, ground black pepper, add the mustard sauce (1 teaspoon of PREPARED mustard mixed with 1 tbsp of sugar with a beater, knocking to add small quantities of vegetable oil).
Salad: boiled red beans + diced onions + boiled beets + pickled ( or marinated) cucumber + boiled carrots + Apple, peeled and chopped cubes + parsley. Salt, pepper, add 1tbsp spoon of sugar, sprinkle with wine or Apple cider vinegar and add a few tablespoons of vegetable oil. A number of vegetables are variable.
You can substitute black beans for lentils "Beluga" instead of the Apple perfectly behaved vinaigrette quince (the quince cubes for 30 minutes to marinate in vinegar with water, add a little sugar). published
