Pancake pies – the family are many and varied. The number of recipes is limited only by the imagination of the hostess: in the course can go absolutely any toppings for pancakes, the main thing to lay down one high layer cake. We offer You to cook a pancake pie with fish mousse.
INGREDIENTS- 1 kg of fat (more than 30%) of sour cream
- 500 g smoked fish fillet of salmon (sockeye, coho)
- 2-3 anchovy fillets
- 350 g wheat flour
- 2 tbsp rye flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 bottle (0,5 l) of mineral water "Borjomi"
- 2 tablespoons mustard with seeds
- 2 tbsp creamy horseradish
- vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
Cooking time - 2 h 30 min
Number of servings - 8-10
HOW TO COOKStep 1
For the filling, finely chop the smoked fish. Even smaller slice anchovies. Mix the fish with 500 g of sour cream and mustard, whisk blender until smooth. Add salt, pepper and put the stuffing in the refrigerator.
Step 2
For pancakes beat eggs in a lush foam, mix with the remaining sour cream. Mix wheat flour with rye, add salt and sugar.
Step 3
Mix flour mixture with technomebel until smooth. Stirring, start to gradually add mineral water. You should have a not too thick batter. If it still seems too thick, add a little plain water.
Step 4
Cover the dough with foil and let stand for at least 20 min. Then heat a pan with a diameter of 22-24 cm and bake pancakes, greasing the pan thoroughly with vegetable oil before the next pancake.
Step 5
When all the pancakes are ready and cooled, begin to assemble the pie. Place the first pancake on the dish on which you intend to serve the pie. Miss fish mousse and place the second pancake.
Step 6
Continue to fluff and stack the pancakes until you run out products. In the middle of one of the pancakes over not fish mousse, and a creamy horseradish. Put the cake in the fridge before serving at least 1 hour, covering with foil.published
