Canelle - little French treat

Fragrant custard cupcake with hints of vanilla and rum, soft, porous, soft, chewy inside, covered in crunchy caramel crust outside.

Originally from France (Bordeaux), he won the hearts of fans of sweets around the world.





Ingredients:

 

  • Milk — 500 ml
  • Vanilla — 1 pod
  • Yolk chicken - 6 pieces
  • Flour — 125 gr.
  • Sugar — 250 gr.
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Butter — 100 gr.
  • Rum / whiskey/ gin - 50 ml.
 

Method of preparation:

 

1. Scraping of vanilla bean, a middle, and get the skin.

2. On low heat warm the milk with the halved vanilla bean, seeds and skin.

3. In a bowl, mix the flour with the sugar, add the yolks, salt, mix well.

4. Add in a bowl the flour with the boiling milk, mix well, add the butter and rum.

5. Leave the dough for several hours in the refrigerator.

6. Preheat the oven to maximum temperature.

7. Greased form melted butter.

8. Mix the dough until smooth, pour into forms almost to the top.

9. Put in 5 minutes in the oven on high, then for an hour at 180 degrees.





10. Canelle ready to get out of shape.
