The recipe for the perfect Italian hummus
Mashed chickpeas with vegetables simply prepared, it is tasty, useful and at the same time is not nutritious. Unlike eastern hummus, this dish is practically no spices added. Fresh crunchy cucumbers and celery are perfectly combined to taste with a delicate mashed chickpeas. Overall, an excellent choice of light and healthy snacks.
Ingredients:
1 stalk celery
20 g of tomato without peel
20 g cucumber peeled
a few pieces of boiled chickpeas
a pinch of sesame
a pinch of lemon zest
fresh greens
crispy croutons
For mashed potatoes:
100 g of peas chickpeas
1 tbsp. l.
olive oil 0 5 h. L. fresh lemon juice
ground red pepper
salt to taste
Recipe
Chick peas soaked in water for 48 hours, then boil until tender. Punches peas blender with the addition of olive oil, fresh lemon juice and pepper. Season with salt to taste.
Cooked mashed potatoes warm up and spread on a plate.
The stalk of celery, peeled tomatoes, cucumber peeled diced, dressed with salt, add the lemon zest and olive oil.
We spread the mashed vegetables.
Decorate with fresh herbs, sesame seeds, lemon peel, red pepper, boiled chickpeas. Serve the dish with crispy croutons.
