Using your mobile phone, you can find out about you a great deal on the 4th "control points"

Most of us do every day goes to the same job, visiting the same stores and restaurants, with it happens, as a rule, about the same time. And this route is unique so as, for example, DNA or fingerprints. Researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States and the Belgian Catholic University of Louvain set out to find out whether it is possible to identify a person using his mobile phone.

It appeared possible, and quite easy: it suffices to determine only four space-time points. Researchers for 15 months studied the routes 1, 5 million people, and then went to the identification of their personalities, and they were able to correctly identify who is who in 95% of cases.

This is not surprising, since most of the people left in the open access their home and work addresses. This is 50% of the necessary information, as people move daily just between these two points, so you can easily identify more than 50% of people. The rest of the "beacons" person leaves on his way from home to work or vice versa.

To determine the individual researchers have developed a special mathematical formula, which can be called "formula of privacy" - enough to match the information on the movements of the person and public data such as name, last name and a brief biography to learn almost everything about it.
