One of the famous tourist ferry route Hurtigruten «Nordlys» can turn yesterday after a fire in the engine room. Firemen try to pump out water from the holds of the ferry, but it does not help - the bank continued to increase and reached almost a critical level of 20 degrees.
Police suspect that the cause of the fire, which killed two people from the team, could become an explosion. During a fire on board were 227 passengers and 55 crew members. Passengers were evacuated on lifeboats to the port town of Aalesund.
UPDATE: At 9 am Norwegian time, police reported that the list of the vessel increased to 21, 7 degrees.
