China has successfully tested a train that can reach speeds of 500 kilometers per hour.
Tests of the new high-speed model of the locomotive went on Sunday at a base in Qingdao.
Currently, the network of high-speed railways in China used CRH 380 train models that move at the speed of 250-300 kilometers per hour.
The new train is expected in commercial operation and will not ride at a speed of 500 kilometers per hour, limiting the speed of 350-380 kilometers per hour.
