Dita Von Teese in a corset butterfly

Jean-Paul Gaultier as a brand is more or less guaranteed that the show will be accompanied by a theatrical effect. Every time he presents a new collection, you can expect anything. And his Spring 2014 show - it's just a knockout.

The designer presented the images, which are perfectly balanced art of fashion with comfort clothes.

Motifs recur throughout butterflies and ranged from the obvious (a butterfly attached to the head model as a hat) to a thin - cut and shape shoulder silhouette depict the insect.

Triangular cocktail dresses, evening with enchanting sleeves were something extraordinary, and each model appeared on the podium with the new headdress.

Fantastic view was specially invited to the model - the queen of burlesque Dita Von Teese in a corset of translucent blue butterfly wings.

Experience shows that theatrical style when it comes to such hackneyed motifs, like theater or butterflies - can be a disaster, but Gaultier has created a collection of the season challenging and tasteful it has filed.
