Statement of the Dalai Lama

"All the world's religions, emphasizing the love, compassion, tolerance and forgiveness, may contribute to the development of spiritual values, and do it. But the reality ... is that tying ethics to religion no longer makes sense. So I more and more convinced that it is time to find a way in matters of spirituality and ethics to dispense with religion in general. " This is really a landmark statement. The leader of several billion Buddhists says that today he does not see in the religion of the modern spiritual and ethical foundation of society. And so it is! Humanity passes from the child's consciousness in adults, and people do not want to be "servants of God". There is a growing self-awareness, people are willing to be creators of their lives, and they offer a millennial dogma. And it no longer corresponds to the time and evolution.
