How to make a young hostess "Gagarin's Pie"

This unusually spectacular, tasty and simple dessert is named after the legendary cosmonaut pilot Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin.

"Gagarin's pie" The ingredients
  • 200g softened butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2.5 tbsp flour
  • pinch
  • 7 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp soda (extinguish with vinegar)
  • 1 briquette (200g red jelly)
  • 200g jam or seen with sour


Preparation
  1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Send proteins to the refrigerator, and add 2 tbsp of sugar to the yolks and beat thoroughly. Couple the yolks with the soft butter, stir again.
  2. Ask for flour in a large bowl, add quenched soda and salt to it. Mix the egg-oil mass with flour. Carefully mix - you will get a homogeneous, slightly sticky sand dough that should not crumble. The test was divided into 3 equal parts.







  3. Pump one lump in the cocoa and keep kneading until it is evenly dyed brown.



  4. From each coma make a small cake, wrap each in food film and send to the freezer for 1 hour. The dough should be well frozen, since it must be rubbed on the grater.



  5. Grind the jelly briquette. Beat the proteins with the remaining sugar until the appearance of soft foam. After that, start gradually sprinkling jelly into the proteins and continue whipping until tight peaks appear. The resulting air mass should be similar to marshmallows.



  6. To assemble the pie, it will be more convenient to use a detachable form with high sides. Preliminarily covered it with baking paper. One (light) frozen sodium dough cake on a coarse grater directly onto the parchment.
  7. On top lay a layer of jam or saw, on top of it rub a chocolate cake of dough.







  8. On the chocolate layer evenly distribute the protein-marshmallow mass. Rub the last piece of dough.







  9. Bake the cake for 50–65 minutes at 180°C before roaring.
