I remember when I was little, my mother put on the windowsill cups of water, in which she placed sprouted bulbs, and after a short time they gave crops.

She also transplanted bulbs into the ground - so they gave a larger crop. However, growing green onions in a pot or any other container is not very convenient, because it turns out a lot of waste, and green onions in fact get little.

Progress of work
  1. Pour boiling water on a handful of sawdust in a pan, let them cool. Pour the remaining water. Note that sawdust should be slightly moist, but not raw (when pressed, water should not ooze from them).

Take a solid plastic bag and mound three large handfuls of sawdust to the bottom. Tamper them a little.

To stimulate the growth of green feathers, slightly cut off the neck of each bulb.

Plant the bulbs in sawdust, seating them tightly together.

And now the trick: you need to breathe a little into the bag, as if to inflate it with your breath, and then tie the package. This is necessary in order to saturate the package with carbon dioxide necessary for active plant growth. Leave the bag intact until the green feathers grow tall enough.

In the second method, you'll need toilet paper instead of sawdust. Tear off several layers, put in a bag and moisten with water to form a kind of gruel. Do all the previous manipulations.

As a result, you will have a lot of onions in a small space and in a short time!
