How to dry capelin at home

Preparation
  1. Wash, peel the fish and put it in a comfortable container.


  2. Prepare the mixture for salting: for 1 glass of salt, put half a glass of sugar, mix and mix with fish. Leave it for 2 hours.


  3. After 1.5 hours, take out the fish and taste it. If it is salty enough, wash all the fish completely. Keep in mind that in a couple of hours the fish will give off moisture and will be slightly saltier to taste. In addition, when you wash, try not to get a stream of water directly on the carcass: water can damage the abdomen. With a brush, apply vegetable oil to each fish and sprinkle with ground pepper.
