How to freeze melon so that in winter it was delicious, as if just from the market

Melon does not lose its useful properties under the influence of negative temperatures. Therefore, freezing is a great way to extend its shelf life. But it is important to adhere to certain rules so that the structure of the fetus does not change.



If, for example, to take overripe melon for freezing, then after defrosting you can get something resembling porridge. It is advisable to choose a fairly soft, but not too watery melon without damage to the skin, with a dry tail and a pleasant aroma.



It is undesirable to freeze and unripe fruits. Since in defrosted form, they usually begin to bitter. Do not freeze the melon with large pieces. They will freeze unevenly and will eventually look sour.

The order of work First, the melon must be prepared. Wash it, cut it in half, remove the peduncles and seeds with a spoon.



Then peel off the peel and cut with slices.



To make melon more convenient to add to cereals, desserts and smoothies, cook compotes and pastries with it, cut the slices into cubes. It is desirable to do this quickly so that the sweet delicacy does not let the juice.
