One day, my friend Sasha introduced me to a foreign colleague. I remember how I received the guys at a party and did not know how to treat a new acquaintance. Sasha warned that his colleague is very picky about food. So the challenge was not easy. Meanwhile, I have a ball in the fridge, just chicken necks, a piece of cheese and a bundle of dill.
There was no time to run to the store, so I decided to improvise and started looking for a selection of interesting dishes with chicken necks. So I came across a recipe I want to share today.
At the end of the article, the most impatient gourmets can find a video version of the recipe and immediately start cooking. And for those who are important not to miss anything, leave a detailed list of ingredients and step-by-step cooking instructions.
Chicken neck Ingredients
- 1kg chicken necks
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp tomato paste
- 8-10 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp honey
- salt
- 1 tbsp paprika
- chili
- 0.5 tsp sunflower oil
Preparation
- First, you need to clean the excess skins from the chicken necks. It is important not to overdo it so that the necks do not turn out too dry. We only remove the big skins. Next, lay the necks in a deep bowl and proceed to the preparation of the marinade.
In a separate bowl, mix honey, paprika, soy sauce, tomato paste and garlic cloves passed through the press. Do not forget to add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Then we pour the chicken necks with sauce and mix it well.
- You need to pickle the neck from 60 to 120 minutes. During this time, you can prepare the main dish or do other household chores. And it is better to take care of yourself and devote this time to rest.
- After the above time, we lubricate the form for baking with sunflower oil and tightly lay out pickled necks in it. The rest of the sauce is distributed evenly in shape.
- At the end, it remains to send the necks to the oven heated to 180 degrees and bake for 35 minutes.
Baked chicken necks are one of the easiest and budget options for a quick snack. They are perfectly combined with soft drinks. And most importantly, such an unusual summer snack can easily feed a large friendly company. It’s also a good option for a Saturday picnic.
