Easter Baking Ingredients
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 50g butter
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 7g vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 200g raisins
  • 15g cinnamon

Preparation
  1. First of all, take the milk out of the refrigerator, pour it into a sautée and warm it up slightly. You can simply leave a bag of milk to stand in the kitchen for 10 minutes to keep it warm to room temperature. Then add yeast, salt and sugar to the milk, after which mix everything thoroughly.

Then pour the milk into a large deep bowl, add vegetable oil to it and beat 1 egg. Stir the ingredients well again and gradually add sifted flour to the bowl.

  2. Mix the dough and leave it in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours. When the dough fits, check if it's too soft. And if you have to, add some more flour.

  3. Then we can start the formation of our buns. To do this, divide the dough into 12 equal parts: 6 parts will go to bunnies, and 6 - to Easter nests. To make bunnies, divide each of the 6 parts of the dough into another 3 pieces (small, medium and large). The largest piece roll into a long sausage and twist into a spiral. It'll be a torso. Then form the middle ball of dough into a drop and cut the pointed tip in two to the middle of the drop. So you'll make your head with your ears.

Well, the smallest piece just roll into a neat ball to make a ponytail. Once all the pieces are ready, just put them together.

  4. To make nests, just roll the pieces of dough into plump sausages, cut them in half almost to the end. Then weave the sausage segments together and connect the beginning to the end to give the bun a round shape.

  5. Sprinkle the blanks with cinnamon and decorate with raisins. Then cover them with a kitchen towel and let them stand for half an hour. After the necessary time, it remains only to lubricate the buns with a whipped egg and put them to bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees. The time for baking Easter buns is 20 minutes.
