The film begins with the fact that a quick cook Tosya Kislitsyn comes to a small village of loggers. She lives in a dormitory where four other girls live next to her. And each of them has its own, unlike the other character.



And the viewer has to look at how simple-minded Tosya, even without having time to remove her coat, begins to “get acquainted” with the things of her new neighbors. Smells other people's perfume, looks into someone else's box, takes other people's products. And all without the slightest doubt and thought, although no one allowed her to.

The only thing left untouched are the books of faith. All because Tosya does not have the slightest feelings for learning and books cause her only an attack of yearning. But everything else, according to Kislitsina, it is simply necessary to touch. And what if the neighbors would be unhappy with such a brazen invasion?



Instead of trying to make at least some tolerable impression when dating, Tosia immediately shows himself not from the best side. She takes other people's products and sits down to eat, which causes outrage from new neighbors.

Someone will explain this behavior by the fact that Tosya grew up in an orphanage. And so I got used to the fact that all things are common, and there can be no personal space at all. But why is she so greedy? Even bread is cut in such a way as to leave less to others. Inappropriate behavior that does not justify a very hungry person.



Hearing the remark, Tosya does not try to explain anything, but she tries to shame the neighbor. And when this does not work, he shakes out the modest contents of his backpack, they say, you can also take mine if you want. Trying to put pressure on the pity that does not bring results. It is understandable, because the claims of the girls are quite justified.

At the same time, it is worth noting that Tose was incredibly lucky with his neighbors. After all, the girls are very friendly and generous. But instead of thanking them, Kislitsina, without realizing it, hurts them with her ridiculous statements.



Tactless Tosya Tak, about the groom of one of the neighbors, she responds with the words “there was a kind of pesky here.” At the same time, Tosya continues to weave jam on both cheeks, which he just brought. It seems that neither tact, nor politeness, nor gratitude, this girl is not familiar.

Strange look and relations Tosi with the local celebrity and editorialist Ilya Kovrigin. At first, Kislitsina tries to attract the attention of the guy with all her might. Then publicly refuses to dance with him, hurting his pride.

Then she is artistically offended when Ilya did not like her cooking. And the next day, she brings the offender lunch. Then proudly declares to others that she does not need him, but only imposes himself.



The romance between Tosei and Ilya is like a game of cat and mouse, with young people constantly switching places. They show feelings, they show indifference to each other. The viewer soon becomes convinced that both the guy and the girl are simply deftly manipulating each other. From the outside, it looks interesting, but there is no question of a healthy relationship.

And though at the end of the movie lovers Kislitsina and Kovrigin They have already reconciled (once again) and are making plans for the future, but they do not believe that they will have a cloudless life together.

Who knows? Such people would be bored in a normal relationship. And so they constantly pull each other’s strings and hone their manipulative abilities. Maybe that’s why they are so attracted to each other.
