I want to share the experience of my close friend from Moscow. She had been to Italy many times and she loved it. So she decided to buy an apartment in Scaleia. Now he comes here on vacation not just to visit, but, you can say, to his home.

As a result, she spends no more than 2 months a year in Italy. The rest of the time, the apartment is idle. Why would she do that? Well, first of all, we have everything we need for a good holiday. Clean water, fresh air, quality products and, of course, the sea. Secondly, the price of housing suited her.



Then, in 2013, she bought an apartment for 25 thousand euros (today about 2.2 million rubles). For 60 square meters, on which there are two bedrooms, a living room connected to the kitchen, a bathroom and a chic balcony, this is not so much. Even with a discount on inexpensive real estate in Scaleia. Of the disadvantages, I can single out only one – the apartment is located far from the center. For some, it may be a plus.

What expenses did my friend face? First thing. other than the cost of the apartment It was necessary to pay for the work of the notary (2000 euros) and the services of the agency (another 400 euros). I had to spend money on flights and on a hotel during the period when Anya was engaged in the selection of an apartment and the design of the purchase itself.”



How much does it cost to maintain real estate in Italy "First of all, you annually pay real estate tax, the amount of which takes into account the cadastral value of housing (more expensive). In the case of Anina, the apartment is 300 euros per year.

For garbage collection services, you need to pay 70 euros annually. Any discounts and concessions due to the absence of owners are not provided. For water, if you use less than 90 cubic meters per year, you pay exactly 174 euros. Of course, a friend does not use this much, but you have to pay a fixed amount annually.



When a friend is in Italy, you have to pay about 80 euros for electricity each month. But you also need to pay 10 euros per month during the absence. As a result, a year gets about 260 euros per light. As for gas, we often use gas cylinders here. For 2 months, one balloon for 19 euros is enough.

Do not forget about condominium services. For maintenance of the territory, as well as for cleaning near houses and in the entrances, you have to pay 360 euros annually. Thus, my friend spends about 1,200 euros every year to service her Italian apartment.



Is it worth it? Someone will probably say that it makes little sense to buy a house for rare visits. And even if you really liked the same Scaleya, then over the years you can get tired of coming on vacation every time to the same place. After all, every year you can visit different countries and different cities, discovering something new.
