Techno grandfather from Berlin

In the evening, when the seniors are preparing for bedtime, for 68-year-old techno-grandfather Bernard Anstey from Berlin everything is just beginning: he goes to clubs and have fun until morning in the company of people who are old enough to him in grandchildren.

Ten years ago, when Bernard died of cancer son and his marriage broke up, he first went to a club and danced until closing time. At first, the older party-goer was an outcast, but gradually the young people no longer see him as a fart and took me in as a friend. Now the regulars in the techno-clubs treat it with great respect, because he gives them hope for a happy old age, he is invited to parties, and festival organizers pay for his travel expenses and hotel, to get a living legend of Berlin.

"I'm dancing my way through life and my survival strategy," says techno-grandfather, whose plans to become a DJ.
