Cooking WITHOUT sugar: chocolate cake with almond halva
This luxury chocolate cake you can eat without any guilt. And none of the guests will never believe that this chocolate-velvety-delicious makes it not prohibitive amount of oil and sugar and... avocado!
Chocolate cake
Bottom layer: prepare a round shape with baking paper. In a food processor chop 2 tbsp. unsalted unroasted pecans (you can substitute almonds, walnuts, pistachios). Stir in 2-3 tbsp cocoa, 1 tbsp oil, 1-2 tbsp maple syrup/agave nectar, a pinch of salt and 1 tsp of vanilla essence and stir to combine. Smoothed with a shovel in the form and send in the freezer.
Mousse: in blender, blend to a mousse 2-3 ripe avocados, 1/3 Cup almond/cow's milk, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1-2 tbsp maple syrup/agave nectar, 1 tbsp starch, 2 tbsp cocoa, 1 tsp vanilla essence and 100 g of melted dark chocolate (melt on the stove on low heat) .
Remove the pan from the freezer and spread the mousse with a spatula and return it in the cold for 2 hours. Before serving, wait a couple of minutes to the cake slightly melted and can be easily cut with a knife.
Almond halva is cooked in 20 minutes and it is very, very tasty!
Ingredients:
2. In a coffee grinder or a mortar grind the cardamom pods, also as small as possible. Add to bowl with almonds.
3. Add to a bowl of tahini and agave, mix well. Weight should be thick.
4. On a plate sprinkle almond plate. To get mass out of the bowl with your hands, shape into a rectangular brick with a thickness of 3 cm, put on a plate, sprinkle and besiege on all sides with almond petals.
5. Wrap the paste in the transparent film or foil, trying to give it a rectangular shape, and send in the freezer for a couple of hours.
To store better in the freezer and serve well chilled, otherwise it will be soft.
