Prescription-antidepressant: Vegetable pie "Roses"

One of the best ways to cheer yourself up and impress the others at the table the guests – and to make this vegetable cake is simple. It was invented by an Italian mom-blogger Barbara Lamperti (Barbara Lamperti), the author of the blog Buona Pappa.





Cooking

 

1. The spread on the form of a single layer of puff pastry (it is better to buy frozen). In the centre lay the paper for baking, and the grain or beans to weigh the dough. Bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees. Remove paper load and allow it to cool.

2. Meanwhile, prepare the fillingfor pie: mix in a bowl the ricotta (350g), 1-2 eggs, grated Parmesan cheese (80 g; or other hard cheese varieties) and a pinch of nutmeg. Add a pinch of salt, chopped herbs (1 tbsp. of oregano or parsley) and sliced mozzarella (130 g). Mix thoroughly.

3. Roses: a vegetable cutter cut into strips zucchini (2 PCs) and colored carrots (4 PCs.). If you do not have carrots in different colors, Barbara advises make a black cake, just zucchini, it also turns out very beautiful.





Other options: zucchini and carrots, zucchini, eggplant, carrots.

Place the bowl with strips of vegetables for 1 minute in the microwave – they will be easier to wrap.

4. Spread the filling on the dough. Take a strip of zucchini and wrap the core. Continue to wrap its new stripes-"petals" (2-3) until you see "rose". Place it in the center of the tart and place around the new "rose" until you close the entire surface of the tart. Brush with olive oil. Bake for 40-50 minutes at 200 degrees.
