Roast duck with apples, oranges and thyme: the dish is No. 1 on the holiday table!

Duck with apples — the ancient Slavic dish that many Housewives cook at Christmas and new year holidays. Of course, our great-grandmothers cooked poultry meat in the oven, but the oven handles cooking duck as well! Try to cook this dish according to our recipe, and you will not regret it.






Duck baked with allocationpreference
  • 1 duck
  • 3 apples
  • 2 orange
  • 100 g of prunes
  • 100 g dried apricots
  • 100 g of canned pineapple
  • Bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Khmeli-suneli
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 5 cloves of garlic


Cooking
  1. Wash the apples and slice them into wedges. Also peel the oranges peeled and cut into small diced pieces.



  2. In a small bowl, mix apricots, prunes, slices of apples, oranges, pineapple slices, soy sauce, peeled and chopped garlic, Bay leaf and spices.


  3. Thoroughly rinse the duck, inside and outside good salt and pepper.


  4. Tightly start the duck with fruit, then seal with toothpicks incision on the abdomen.
