In 2010 South African photographer John Thackwray (John Thackwray) went on an amazing trip around the world to take pictures for his project "My Room Project".

He sets the camera on the ceilings of bedrooms of local residents to capture the way of life and cultural characteristics of the inhabitants of the rooms.

The project has more than a thousand images taken more than 55 countries.
