The pumpkin festival is more than just an exhibition of pumpkin art, but also a fair-market different varieties of pumpkins, children's mini-amusement Park and a chain of restaurants where you can taste dishes made from pumpkin products. At the fair you can purchase any fruit from the family "Cucurbitaceae". For some grades the prices are quite low, but sometimes the cost of the fruit or seeds several times higher than the market.





In restaurants and cafés offer to eat a variety of pumpkin dishes: pumpkin pancakes with pumpkin jam, and pumpkin sausages with pumpkin mustard, pumpkin noodles, porridge, pumpkin dumplings, soups, strudels, and even pumpkin cake and pumpkin sparkling champagne.





The festival involved more than 500 thousand pumpkins, among which is a contest for the largest. On results of competition the winner is determined, whose pumpkin has reached the highest weight.





Hitting the pumpkin festival once, don't think that next year there can not go, because you all have seen. The fact that every year the theme of the festival changes. So, for example, in the previous year the festival was dedicated to the astronomy, the animal world, fairy tales.
