In Russia began the installation of led street lighting

The administration of Rostov signed with the company "Interest" energy service contract, involving the installation of led lamps in street lights in the city.



The leadership of the Rostov confident that this project is not only a third will reduce the level of energy consumption of street lighting, but also greatly simplifies operation, because the led lamps more easy to maintain, and due to its physical characteristics, is less susceptible to influence of various external factors, compared to the currently used sodium lamps high pressure.

The head of the Rostov administration Konstantin Shevkoplyas stressed that in modern conditions the reduction of energy consumption in various spheres of life and economy, is a key factor for sustainable development of any city. The project to install led lighting on the streets of Rostov, at this stage of the life of the city, will make a big step in the formation of energy-efficient urban economy.





All this, according to the initiators of the project, will significantly increase the operating time of each lamp installed, and ultimately have a positive impact on the maintenance costs of outdoor lighting network.

We note that just yesterday the staff of "Interest" has already begun to implement this project. They are removal of old lamps and lighting fixtures, and installing new, and according to the calculations, all work will be completed in the coming months. Not to mention that while the main task of the specialists of the contractor for all power lines will hold control of the presence of unauthorized connections, and eliminating them.
