At first I thought, how cool! The world is changing! We are gradually moving from an ignorant post-Soviet backwater to a new high-tech modernity! But a little later everything began to take on a few different shades in my head.

At some point, articles on the Internet about increasing productivity in all areas of life began to elicit a seemingly strange reaction: they made me laugh. All this plastic aesthetic of a semi-networked world with super-efficient people began to seem to me a thin, icy and completely unkind “high-performance slave” program..

Doing it faster, doing it more efficiently... Taking on more than you can accomplish, spreading out even more in multitasking, following directions, even if you realize that it is wrong, trying to do “whatever you need” – cooking, reading, walking and living.You?

Not to mention if you're a single young mom. The day is scheduled by the clock and life becomes like a classy biorobot program. Spontaneity? Slowness? No, no, that's all later. On the weekend! I'll do that this weekend. And this, and this, too. As a result, the weekend is also a to-do list: a list of articles, films, books, exhibitions, meetings with friends.

The desire to sleep bordering on the requirement to yourself in any case not to miss the workout, the desire to eat the “forbidden” product with the requirement to adhere to your diet.

It is also necessary to support the body, be sure to have time to meet with everyone who wants it, answer all letters, think about projects, raise a child and at the same time remain radiant and happy, posting colorful photos on Instagram. Of course, in this rhythm, the roof begins to move, or rather, a person simply enters into an endless neurosis and stress.

In addition, a person only aggravates this state of affairs and his pride, resorting to various methods to please himself. Instead, to finally accept yourself as you are and to work systematically and calmly on yourselfPeople enter into a series of addictions to triggers that only temporarily improve their well-being and strengthen the positions of the ego.

Sleep as much as you feel you need to sleep? Some day 6 hours and some more? Is there something your body needs right now? To engage in that physical activity, which leads to a spontaneous feeling of its need?

Think of this actually more aggressive than motivating “you’re only better” marketing strategy, making women exercise as if without it they would become some kind of inferior. Not everyone is suitable for running and other sports - here everyone should understand and choose the optimal physical activity and its regimen in accordance with personal characteristics.



You do not need to have a super-pumped brain and intelligence, a super-body and a dense schedule filled with a thousand things, if at the same time you cease to feel like a living person and cease to feel and act from the heart, and not from intellectual reasoning “what would be good and right to do”. Remember how many times your intuition prompted you to make the right decisions that you neglected in favor of a logical solution that turned out to be wrong!

You are not your brain. The brain is a tool, a great biocomputer, but if we discarded our sensory aspect, the aspect of our soul, our conscience, our intuition, and our sensory perception of the world, we would simply become biorobots.. Yes, in slim, healthy, efficient and full of energy, but completely dead people. People whose lives are devoid of spontaneity, sincerity, faith in miracles and the ability to enjoy life as children while remaining adults.

I am absolutely sure that each of us has something to give up in order to become calmer and happier people. Money, success, status, and career can bring you temporary happiness, but they are incapable of making you truly happy and loving beings who act from their own center, listening to themselves and bringing true goodness and light, neglecting fashion, trends, and imposed ideas. You may not be perfect, but you are real. Kind, alive and sincere.

Health and happiness lie far beyond your body and mind. Stop raping yourself. Learn new things, study your mind and body, explore the world around you, but most importantly, listen to yourself. What you have inside you has infinite wisdom and love.Do not neglect this true source in favor of scientific research or the latest developments. Be careful with any information, no matter how useful it may seem at first glance. Find the courage to be yourself!
