NIKOLA TESLA ABOUT LIVING FOOD
"The fact that we can exist in the vegetable diet, work and even thrive - not just a theory, but a well-demonstrated fact. Representatives of many nations living virtually on the same plant foods, have an excellent physique and strength.
There is no doubt that plant foods, such as oats, less meat, and thus has a better impact on the physical and mental activity. Such food is also less strain our digestive organs, and making us more contented and friendly, just brings invaluable.
Bearing in mind these facts, it is necessary to make any effort to stop the senseless and heartless slaughter of animals, which is destructive to human morality. »
[Nikola Tesla, «The Problem of Increasing Human Energy». Century Illustrated Magazine, June 1900.].
The physicist and inventor Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) is considered a "genius who heralded the coming century of electricity." He is undoubtedly one of the most creative and significant inventors of the last century and is one of the most prolific.
In later years, Nikola Tesla became a vegetarian. In an article for Century Illustrated Magazine, he wrote: "Sure, it makes more sense to grow vegetables. I think that vegetarianism - a worthy way out of
barbaric habits. " Tesla claimed to be economically disadvantageous to consume meat when large numbers of people are starving. He was sure that the "plant food is superior meat in terms of the impact on the physical and mental abilities».
He also argued that the slaughter of animals - "unjustified cruelty» [Nikola Tesla, «The Problem of Increasing Human Energy». Century Illustrated Magazine, June 1900.].
The discoveries of Nikola Tesla laid the foundation of modern electrical engineering. He created the first examples of a two-phase alternating current generator and the high-frequency transformer. His work on the wireless transmission of signals over a distance had a great influence on the development of radio; he designed a number of radio-controlled self-propelled machinery, which he called "teleavtomatami" developed radar principle.
During his life, Tesla made around 1000 different inventions and discoveries, received nearly 800 patents in various technical fields (electric meter, frequency meter, a number of improvements in the radio equipment, steam turbines, etc..).
Nikola Tesla discovered alternating current fluorescent light, wireless energy transfer, built the first electric clock, a turbine engine on solar energy, invented the radio before Marconi and Popov, received a three-phase current before Dolivo-Dobrovolsky, first developed remote management principles, the basics of current treatment of high frequency, demonstrated glow effect "aura" of objects in the late XIX century, now known as the "kirlian effect", which was patented only in 1949.
Tesla believed that the universe - a living system, and all the people in it - a kind of "machines" that behave according to the laws of the cosmos. He believed that the human brain does not have the image memory property in the sense, as is commonly believed, and the memory - just a reaction in the nerve repetitive external stimulus, that is invariant generated by periodic physical influences
. Even more importantly, he has more than a thousand of fundamental scientific inventions, does not consider it work to our credit, and clearly states that acts as a conductor between the world of science and the world of ideas of human practice.
Death itself Tesla sees an expression of his personal triumph: rather, it was like a conscious transmigration of the soul in other planes of existence, rather than the usual glorious death of a man confused and frightened in the face of self-liberation
. Two days before the death of the body Tesla stopped working and locked himself in a hotel room, asking not to be disturbed. When the director of the hotel and the maid finally came to him, they found his lifeless body, lying with crossed hands on his chest and elegantly dressed, as if ready to "exit." He had to be buried Christian and Buddhist, but three days before the first he was cremated.
