Friendship and fortitude

Two Americans - Patrick Gray (Patric Gray) and Justin Skizuk (Justin) - inseparable friends since childhood, and they can always count on each other.

When Justin learned of his terrible disease that forever sat him in a wheelchair, his friend Patrick was close.

Progressive autoimmune disease every month more and more paralyzed Justin. His muscles stop working. Many would it broke, but not Justin. This is a man with exceptional fortitude, which can not be so simple.

JUST when I saw a documentary about the famous Camino de Santiago in Spain, he felt that he should pass it. He knew that he could not make the pilgrimage alone, and then the wife will not help him, then he sought the help of his best friend Patrick. "I'll push you," - responded to a request by Patrick. The project they have called «I'll Push You».

On his journey of 800 kilometers, they raised money by making fundraising campaign on a site that is well named illpushyou.com. They also decided that during the pilgrimage will shoot a documentary about his "adventures».

Initially, all of them discouraged. Said to them: "You will not succeed. This is madness! ". But the two friends turned out - July 7, 2014 after a 34-day grueling 800-kilometer journey on foot through the deserted roads in northern Spain, they arrived at the cathedral in Santiago.

On his way Justin and Patrick met a lot of other pilgrims. They were all very surprised and persistence of two friends.

Patrick had to alternately push, then drag a wheelchair with Justin, while still lugging a backpack on your back with everything you need. All the way they walked. In some places they were forced to ask for assistance from other pilgrims, for example, when climbing El Cebrero. No difficulties but did not prevent them to reach the goal.

A disabled traveler - so calls himself Justin. Travel - it's his passion. And even now, when he can not move, he continues to travel around the world. And he has a mission - he helps other people with disabilities to overcome their daily difficulties and find your passion in life. Those who love to travel, he convinces not resist, and advises them how to do it safely and successfully.

During the pilgrimage friends filmed a documentary about his adventures, which will be completed next year.

Do you think that these two after 800-km path at this stop? Not at all. Friends are already planning a new joint expedition. Maybe they will go to Africa. But first they want to realize another dream Justin - scuba diving. I think people like Patrick and Justin can handle it.

Confined to a wheelchair Justin and his best friend Patrick made a pilgrimage to one of the most famous routes in the world - the famous Camino de Santiago in Spain. Many did not believe that they will succeed. But they believed in it, and it helped them to overcome all difficulties on its way.

When asked what is the purpose of your project, which he carries the message to other people, they said, "Do not limit should define your life, and just what we are doing in spite of them. You can overcome all difficulties due to their persistence and perseverance. Sometimes, however, to achieve the desired goal, you need to ask for help from others. You just need to learn to trust - and then it starts to work like magic ».

Do not spill water from childhood.

Dreams come true. Only you need to do at least something to do. Justin and Patrick had to do very much. 34 days on foot along the 800-kilometer road, one in a wheelchair, the other - on foot, pushing it and carrying a heavy load. And now they have reached the goal of his journey - came to the shrine of Santiago de Compostela.
