MOSCOW, March 11. Half of the citizens of the Russian Federation (50%) said that rarely uses profanity, another 15% confessed to the frequent use of profanity. This is according to a survey conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation.
Only a third of respondents (33%) reported that they do not use the mat.
Meanwhile, 61% of respondents said that their friends use profanity. The opposite answer was given by 36% of Russians.
According to the Russians, it is allowed to swear, "when it is very difficult" or "when different people do not understand." But some believe that it is our colorful feature of "Russian language is so", and the mat can be used "for the connection of words." Nevertheless, 65% of Russians believe that it is necessary to ban works of art that include the obscenities. And 84% of Russians approve of the introduction of penalties for the use of the mat in the media.
