Faithfulness to one partner
Italian scientists exploring the longevity factor, came to the conclusion that loyalty to one partner prolongs life. Researchers led by Dr. Emmanuel Giannini of the University of Florence conducted a series of experiments and found that men who were sexually active, but remained faithful to its second half, suffer less from heart disease and, on average lived longer.
Commenting on the study, which was attended by four thousand men, Dr. Giannini explained that if an active sex life in men produce more testosterone - the male hormone that reduces the risk of depression, improves the cardiovascular system and improves overall metabolism. Loyalty increases stress, protecting man from nervous breakdowns.
